Some have argued that Western Canada feels a sense of isolation from the Eastern Federal government and has more in common both economically and culturally with the United States. That being said, what are some thoughts on the idea of Alberta and British Columbia being annexed by the United States?

What disillusions Western Canadians is 20 million Ontario and Quebec citizens making all the decisions. What makes you think we'd replace that with 300 million Americans???? We would be even more isolated and ignored.

I'm from BC. The first thought is sure, give us back the millions you stole from us in Softwood lumber tariffs. Then once we got that back, we'd say no thank you. Sure, BC has things in common with the American Pacific Coast States. But we do not have anything in common or understand the American East or South. Oh, and BC votes a lot more left of center than Washington and Oregon State ever would dream of. One third of our elected representatives are leftist.

As for Alberta. The current Prime Minister was voted in from there. 65% of them voted for the current government and all of their representatives were voted in including the Prime Minister who is the Calgary representative.

The illuminati owns Canada too, so why might want to we annex them. The conflict on terror is a comic book tale and the invasion of Iraq became only for oil, even with the undeniable fact that the illuminati did not own Iraq. besides the very shown truth that they now do because of our belligerent methods. i'm satisfied to work out Sadham Hussein lengthy previous, yet i ask your self about the reasoning in the back of it. we will be in conflict always now or a minimum of till the anit-christ brings us the faux peace.

It would lower the population density of the United States. (What the heck else is there to say about it?)
