Most likely the spot of blood was due to your cervix becoming irritated.It is very common in pregnancy.

A little dot of blood? I wouldnt worry about it. See your doc at your next check up, but it is most likely nothing.... If you are really worried call your doc today and tell him whats up, he will tell you what to do. Good luck! and congrats!

I am thirty three weeks and that happened to me a few weeks ago. If you had just had sex then its probably from that. But if the blood doesn't come back then its not serious. Just tell your Doc next time you go in.

I'm a doctor. A gyn. don't worry. a little spotting during pregnancy is normal. i just had twins 4 months ago. throughout my pregnancy i was spotting. it's completely normal. i would just recommend that you tell your doctor or ob/gyn on monday. it'll help take the stress off so that you don't stress out the baby. if you have anymore questions just email me at fast_cars_and_freedom54@yahoo.com

I wouldn't worry about it as it happens. I would call the doctor office Monday morning and tell her just to ease your mind and make sure she doesn't want to get you in sooner for an appointment.
