Is there a place in Louisiana that has transgender people?
Like a shop or the like.

Since Katrina I'm not sure what's left but one of my dearest friends use to visit here all the time and there has been a small, "hole-in-the-wall bar on the left side of Bourban past Bienville
and not on a corner spot. Transgenders mostly make up the talent for this fun cocktail bar where the guys put on their best dresses and makeup and try to convince u to think twice about their gender bending. I'm not sure if it made it through the depression of Katrina or not but it was there at least since my first trip to do Bourbon Street in 1988 and I know it was there in July before Katrina. Maybe also try Season's, a triangle shaped building off Causeway Blvd. in Metairie opposite side of the mall near Honey-Baked Hams. U might check out some more adult-oriented lifestyles to find any new hangouts. Or maybe a local Gambit newspaper or Langniappe.

There are transgender people everywhere! You just usually can't look at someone and immediately know "Oh, you're transgender!!"
