I am sure my husband has one lying around somewhere in the house as well, remember it was her ex, your the one she is with now so don't worry about it to much, I know you must be really angry and jealous but just do a tape with her and compare them you would feel better after I am sure

Why would you watch something like that? Do you read her diary too?
It's her tape, and whether or not you like it, it's part of her past. It might not be the old boyfriend that she wants to see in the tape. Maybe she just wants to have a keepssake from when she was younger and hotter.
Is it possible that she kept the tape without knowing that she did? Is is possible that the tape was tucked away in some obscure place and she completely forgot about it? Or was it in some sacred place with all her other "naughty" things?
Either way, it's understandable that you're upset by it, but don't take your anger out on her. It's not like she has a video of herself cheating on you, or the boyfriend all alone on the tape.
Suck it up, be a man, and put it away. Forget about it.

You could get mad and have a big argument. Or you could talk to her and say you found and watched it because you didn't know what it was at first and say that your not mad but wish she would have thrown it away or said to you that she keep it. I really don't think she kept it for reasons other then maybe she forgot about it.
Then you can turn it around and say you want to make one with her.

Maybe she kept it because it is the only video she has ever been in. I have love letters from 30 years ago and haven't read them since, they are in a box in the basement. some were from my husband, some werent. It was a time in my life and that's what they signify. And that's probably all the tape is. She would probably get rid of it without a second thought if it bothers you.

I probably would be mad. She shouldn't have a tape from an old boyfriend when she's married to you! If she really needed to watch herself having sex, she should've have just asked you to make a tape with her.

If it bothers you and makes you mad, than that's understandable. I don't think there are any 'shoulds' or 'should nots' when it comes to our feelings. Did you talk to her about it, ask her why she has it and share your feelings about it with her? I suspect, as with old photos we keep of our exes, it's a nostalgic or sentimental thing. I would be upset too if my boyfriend kept something similar. As long as she isn't sitting around watching it, though, I see no cause for concern.

mad... NO, disappointed YES....your wife is WRONG for keeping that tape around, that is a sign of disrespect to the marriage she owes you an apology if she know that you found it, but if not there is no need to ask her about it just burn it and move on.
just too bad for her, she should have burned it a long time ago good luck

No she shouldn`t have kept it, give her the benefit of the doubt that maybe she forgot to throw it away when she moved when the both of you married. You should have not watched it as you are now finding out. It should have been thrown in the trash after you found it.

if i lived in your skin, i'd ask her to go to dinner with me. there, i would brooch the subject of her keeping the tape. tell her you watched it. ask her why she kept it. ask her if she wants it anymore. ask her why as long as you must until you know her meaning. don't let her be coy. you are her husband. make sure she knows that you do not like it that she has it. try to get her to destroy it in front of you (but be nice, now), or, ask her to send it back to the guy. I UNDERSTAND, because sex is a very intimitate, precious thing.

OMG! well... this a double end sword. if you tell her about it, she'll get mad you were snooping, if you don't you'll have to go the rest of your life wondering why she kept the tape. i think the roughest road should be the one you take. this is a serious thing you two should talk about.
