If u have his baby he will have some responsibilities towards the child yes and I do not think you should be the only one taking responsibility. After all you are both young and I do hope families from both sides can help you look after this child, ie if you are really pregnant. Otherwise, I hope you have learned your lesson and next time use condoms.

If the 19 year old boy is your friend or is he your boyfriend I don't know what a cut friend is maybe you need to write us back and tell us.Don't you know who the father is you write might be having his Baby. You will have to get a DNA test and if the baby is his yes make him pay child support. And yes if the child is his and he don't pay child support he will get into trouble.Either way if he don't want to pay for his child you will have to go to court to get the courts to set an amount of support for the child.Have you graduated or still in school if you are still going don't drop out if you have drop out start back now if you are with child you need a job,and to get a good job you need an education.Good luck, and don't let the BOY out of his responsibility.

most guys are like that hun ive got 4 kids and only 1 out of the 3 fathers was responsible. alot of time when you flash responsibility in front of a man then they run. if thats the kind of guy he is you and the precious baby you are about to have will be just fine without him i promise. i dont know the laws were you are at so the best thing for you to do is ask someone that is were you are and asked them the laws. i hope this helps you. good luck with your new baby! merry xmas!

He's acting stupid because he does not want to be a parent. Since your already 17, he probably won't get labled as a pedophile, but you absolutely need to sue for child support.

First of all, I think you both need to calm down. He is going through a tough time due to this news and does not understand how to deal with this change. Change is always hard and especially if the change is life change. So I guess, you need to tell him that lets calmdown adn discuss this. Tell him you understand it is hard but the same time the baby needs both of us. Just play it wiht coll mind and you will be doing your kid a favor keeping the father around. Good luck

I would find out if you were pregnant first, before you get rid of him completely. If you are pregnant,it depends on your parents reaction(s) to the fact that you are pregnant. Yes,your parents or you could press Statutory Rape charges in most states(if it considers a 17yo as underage). But if you are not pregnant, you are better off without him.

Get rid of him, he got what he wanted from you and now he's acting this way. Go for child support.

He may be in denial! Talk to him and tell him that it may be his baby. Ask him about child support if he doesnt want to be involved or if he does want to be involved, tell him how great that would be. I hope everything works out! Good Luck and God Bless!
