I found a 100 dollar bill image online (both sides) and want to print it only for the sake of using it in a stage play. I don't intend to use high resolution, meaning no one will be convinced it's real when looking up close. Is that still okay? Is it legal to print money in any way, or are there absolutely no exceptions?

It would probably be cheaper for you to just pick up a pack of play money from the store, than to waste your time and effort to print up some 2 sided copies on the school printer.

Just go buy some and avoid the possibility of the Fed showing up at your school and carting you off to some sweatshop in Indonesia.

The guideline of RBI regarding fake currency is to mark it cross on verification also banker have authority to call the police also, but since most of the cases the customer are innocent so normally bankers use first option.I think your bank must be obliging the customer by returning him the fake currency. And answer to your question once i hear a very weired but valid suggestion from Baba Ramdev that stop printing 500-1000 rs. note then automatically there would be reduction in the black money and Fake currency as well. The reason given was that black money hoarder then have to keep ware houses to keep there money. Isn,t that funny :)

if the play is on a stage, then the audience won't know the difference between green paper and real money. do not attempt too duplicate U.S. currency in any way. it will remain on your hard drive and the purpose is unimportant. just the download may cause problems. don't mess with uncle Sam's money
