I mean really, how do you? Don't worry about offending me, (I'm sure none of you care if you offend me anyways), but I need to know. I'm tired of people treating me so weird. I know I'm not pretty, but I want to know how you define ugly. I don't have a pic of me but I get treated differently a lot of the time. Like sympathized, a lot. And I just want to know why.

when you walk into a store and people begin pelting you with frozen burritos...that's a pretty good sign i think.

'Pretty' and 'ugly' aren't physical characteristics; they're expressions of how you feel about yourself and other people. In case you think I'm being preachy, look at someone like Meryl Streep (or Tyne Daly in Cagney and Lacey) - they can run the gamut of being dead plain to stunningly beautiful and it's nothing to do with make-up or clothes and everything to do with the character they're adopting. Or if you can get the DVD of Muriel's Wedding there's a glorious bit towards the end when one of her 'friends' - a right cow, to put it plainly - screeches 'I'm beautiful!' in a way that quite clearly show the contrast between her fashionable face and her nasty character.
A beautiful face is lively; interested; expressive; giving and forgiving; unafraid; and signifies someone who's learning. Such a person will become more and more beautiful with age.
So - love yourself a little bit more, and love the world around you more than that, and see what happens.

How can u tell when ur ugly ? when ur mirror breaks J/K lol. Nah people need to stop judging people because of how they look. They should start looking at a person because of how they are not because of how they look. A person is ugly when they don't care about others, when they disrespect, and when they critizise. I'm sure you are not like that so therefore, you are not ugly. You're BEAUTIFUL!

usually people say that they that they think that beauty is on the inside but they dont really. if they say a ugly person with bad teeth messed up hair and reallyreally obese, they wouldnt treat them the same as everyone else, trust me.
i define ugly as someone who doesnt care about their appearance and just goes however
i define pretty as someone who takes an effort with their looks. if someone has tried to make themselves look better than they are pretty to my standards. if you dont care, then thats ugly to me.

most people definie it by the magazines we view; however, no-one is ugly. we are all made the way god wanted us to be!! cheer up!! some "beautiful" people have ugly souls!!
