yes, sometimes the pain can radiate from your front to your back. I don't know why this happens. Some people say the nerves get "overloaded" in front and so they transfer some of that ache to your back - even though there's nothing wrong with your back. Just remember it's only a sensation. Use a hot pad and take some Aleve. And doing a little exercise, like walking really seems to help me, even though it's pretty much the last thing I want to do...

Yes!
I feel the exact same way.
Actually I started my 'cycle' a couple days ago and my lower back has been killing me, as in, on the verge of tears killing me.
I think its completely normal and you are so not alone.
What really helps, is if you go down to the store or somewhere and buy a couple boxes, or just one, of those 8 hour heat pack things, where you can apply them to your body, like icy hot, only the kind where it is just heat.
I feel your pain, literally, good luck.

Yes this has happened to me a lot. I mentioned this to a few older women and they suggested that i drink a lot of water and reduce my fat intake. then they said to take calcium supplements (I like the chewable kind) a week or two before Ur period. and even though it hurts i do a little exercise and i find that the eventually goes away. Try it!

Yes. I used to get terrible back aches. Take Advil or Aleve for relief, it does help. I also used to use a heating pad or a hot water bottle to help. They also have those heat patches that you can put on your underwear over the area that is aching and it lasts for 8 hours and helps also. You can find the heat patches in the same area that your feminine hyigene products are in.

I believe cramps around your lower back are perfectly normal. I get them with my period. Motrin helps.
