What are some suggestions (bands and individual songs) for older rock?
I like Stairway to Heaven, most things by Black Sabbath, what are some other suggestions? Thanks!

you want to get into the classics, I applaud that. Im just 16 but i know more about classic rock than most people who lived in that era. If I were you i would DEFINATELY check out Zeppelin past Stairway. Physical Graffiti is a great album, but i reccomend getting all of them. Definately start listening to the Beatles and the Stones, The Who, and find a good radio station that plays classic rock. The more you listen to it, the more youll discover about your own developing tastes and youll be able to pick out bands and songs on your own.

Gee, where do you start, 1955 to 1980, there are thousands, Queen gives you a pretty wide range of styles from slow ballads to heavy metal. It really boils down to what mood you're in, at times you want it thumping, at others nice and relaxing, there's just too much scope.

Anything by rush, King crimson the scorpions or u.f.o. If you go to the new napster site you can listen to previews and it's free and legal. you just can't save them though. Happy listening!
