Hell ya.
My Bears have all the weapons:
Leadership: Urlacher and Kreutz
Run Game: Jones and the beating Benson brings
Run Stopping: Urlacher, Brown, Ogunleye, Harris (when he comes back), and Briggs
A Deep Threat: Berrian, duh
and Depth: Griese (solid backup), Benson, Gilmore (solid TE), Scott (good DT), and we have loads of safeties (Johnson, Green, Brown, Manning, etc.)

My prediction: Bears vs. Chargers

The bears made it to the playoffs last year as the number 2 seed in the NFC with a no name quarterback that i can almost guarentee no one can remember unless they look into it. This year, they have a quarterback that has the ability to WIN games rather than control it while the defence does the rest. Granted that the Defence / special teams has won a few games for the bears this year, if you look at it...who else in the NFC has beat the bears? UMM...no one...at all....WIth 2 more wins they lock up home field advantage through the playoffs...and the bears are tough at home. The winner of teh Dallas/New orleans game this weekend will play AND LOSE to the bears in the NFC Championship

besides..rememeber a few years ago when the ravens won the superbowl? they did that purely on defence. as long as the bears can put up 21 points a game, they'll be set

I am a Packers fan but I'm trying to be honest here.

I really don't think Chicago will get to the Super Bowl because of Grossman. Defenses can put enough pressure on him so that he throws off his back foot and that's a recipe for disaster. He has some great games and then he has some really lousy games. I mean, they lost to Miami for crying out loud!

I think New Orleans and Dallas have what it takes to make it to the big dance. I would give a slight edge to Dallas....Tony Romo has really turned that team around. Imagine that....a guy from Eastern Illinois, of all freaking places, is the best QB in the NFL right now. (And I hate Dallas too, for obvious reasons!)

I think you mean Our Bears!
Brother, Lovie Smith will see to it through his perseverance and patience (that he exercises splendidly) that the QB situation will be resolved speedily. He was right on the money during last week's press conference when he stated the reality of it all.......10-2 with Sexy Rexy at the reigns.
Devin Hester, Bernard Berrian, Daniel Manning, "Moose" Muhammad, Nathan Vasher, Thomas Jones, Cedric Benson, Adrian Peterson, Lance Briggs, Hunter Hillenmeyer, The Immortal Brian Urlacher, Adawayle Ogunleye, Charles Tillman, Alex Brown and Olin Kreutz have got his back!
Tommie Harris will soon return (No cause for concern) and Alfonso Boone is a fine replacement for now.
Monday night will reveal that the "nay-sayers" will have to try to fit their other foot in their mouths.

But.....I didn't come to start no trouble..........I just came to do the SUPER BOWL SHUFFLE!!!!!!!!!!

DA BEARS!!! Read it and weep!

No way. When you are a betting man, you bet on the better quarterback, and 90% of the time you will win. With Grossman have a 1.3 passer ratiing (Yes, thet Is 1.3, with Peyton Averaging a 100+ passer rating this year) you can not say that their special teams can propel them to the superbowl, playing against the best teams in the NFL.

Yeah I think they will get there...their Defense team not only defends it also makes touchdowns...

Brian Griese has had a lot of injuries and I don’t think he will be the answer to the Bears quarter back woes.
Grossman is being well paid for this performance and at least he has stayed healthy so far. Anyway how ever it goes
He is playing himself right out of the Bears Lineup…

No, and I wish I could say yes. It's not just Grossman. Their offense has very little pop. Muhammad is a cry-baby if he doesn't get thrown the ball every single time he gets open. Jones is solid at times but needs to be given the ball at least 25 times per game EVERY game. Tommy Harris will be missed on defense, and I think the Bears are one injury to a defensive starter away from not even winning a playoff game this season.

Da Bears Offense Still Sucks, not quite as bad as my Packers O does but, yeah, No way can't win and turn the ball over that much.
