There can never be enough licensed tradesmen who are good at what they do, especially electricians. It depends on where you work, and on the contacts and reputation that you build up. Expect to be very busy......

Sure is. Even with a slowdown in building, there is a wide area to work. Commercial is always good. Remodelling, updating, etc.

As long as you don`t mind the extreme cold, snow, ice, heat, and heights from climbing sometimes, it pays very well. There is always plenty of work.
