in different states is getting married and she is NOT inviting me to her wedding. I was/am stunned. She said she is not having anyone come from out of town, except for the friends and relatives of her to be husband. She said she didn't want to be distracted. What do you make of this????????

I DID tell her how I feel!
That is when she told me that she didn't want to be distracted.

Why will she be distracted??does she think your ugly? is she thinking that maybe her "new" friends will think your low?? i never met you but you are a good friend and a pretty one..if her attitude changed then don't mind it...if she ignores you still don't mind it...it's really hard...but if she doesn't say sorry what is a reason to stop your friendship? when her "big" day is over talk to her and really ask her why she haven't invite you....tell your feelings...if she just says she'll will get distracted i think she's not thinking that you are best friends...

to get the real answer, ask urself that question: "would i invite my best friend to my wedding" if u say yes i would, then she is so totlay not ur best friend, stop keeping in touch with her and make sum new friends (remember once a freind not always a freind). if u say u wouldnt invite her then ya she's the same way. good luck.

what kind of a best friend is that. maybe she's embarassed of her own husband. but even if that was the case she shoulda invited you for help or something. you have every right to be ed, if i were you i would never talk or keep contract with her again!

That is sad... but I also have a strange relations with my best friend now - she stopped telling me things about herself, though all our friends know that.So - I used to be the best friend, and now I'm less than an acquaintance,,

Sounds rude and thoughtless....or, the new hubby to be is controlling the invitations and your ex-best friend

Well, you need to stop communicating with her, until she's ready to truthfullly explain herself, and start being your friend, like she's upposed to. You, also need to out with someone named Chips and ask him to, dip into you. A girl like you could use the enjoyment.

that sound like a real kick in the butt
but it could be that her hubby to be is a control freak and has twisted her arm into this kind of decision - but it is HER decision to allow him to be that way
