These are the following things that you can do to stop someone from using your wireless network:
Note: You need to access your modem/router's configuration to do this.

* Enable WIRELESS SECURITY on your modem router
* You may use the default WEP or Network key (this can normally be found on your modem's label) or use a customized WEP 64bit (10 digit numbers) to connect to your wireless network.
Another option would be to disabling your SSID broadcast or your modem's visibility for as long as you know your Network name or SSID.

You want someone to stop leeching your wireless connection? You'll have to make it password protected. The settings for this depend on your your computer, your router, and so on. You may want to ask your internet provider to give you one.

By the way, a USB is a port is on your computer that you use to connect external devices. I hope someone that you don't want to is not using it! :O
