Wow... now most parents do something for a good reason. They may not trust you or maybe they have their own personal problems that can jepordize your safty if you are caught out in the world... I dont know, i am not them, and the best way to get a great answer is to not ask here but ask them... if they have a real reason, and you ask in a mature manor they will give you the real answer... and dont be upset about it when they give it to you... it will show you are imature. Just ask a straight foreward Q so you can get a straight foreward Answer... and dont let them say it's your grades or attitude... that's not an answer. Anyways, hope it helped. good luck!!!

Find out why and when you will be allowed to date. Most parents have a timetable. You don't mention your age but if you are under 16 or so I bet that is the reason.

Depends on how old you are. Depends on whether you 've earned their trust or not. Or maybe it's because they know the guy really really well. Whatever the case, most of the time, parents aren't trying to run your life, they're trying to keep you from getting hurt.

They are just trying to protect you. I think the best way to do anything is all of you sitting down and talking as a family to work out your differences

They are doing you a favour as you sound quite young and they are trying to protect you from all the heart-ache and pain that young relationships entail. Wait, and you will see that some day, love will find it's way.

Wow your in a pickle in your situation I would probably first see him at school. Then talk to my parents and find out why I can't go with him. Then if all is well ask if you can hang out at the house then slowly at his house finally tyo out somewhere. and if they won't go for that. Sneak out if it is really worth it

I think your parents may not be ready for there "little girl" to grow up. Maybe you should talk to them and show them you are ready for this kind of activity. Do group dates before you go one-on-one. Be responsible and keep up with homework and studying too!

How old are you? Old enough to date, or not?
If you are old enough, maybe your Mom and Dad know something about this boy that makes them distrust him.
Nothing that you can do. Accept it.
