most likely not unless its in your plan i know when i used to do that i ran my bill up to well over 600 dollars so be careful with that.

It's not. If you send/receive a text message within the US it's 10 cents either way. Sending international text messages is 20 cents a piece. Receiving international text messages is 10 cents. You could get a text message package for like 4.99 which would let you send and receive a 200 text messages for free per month.

It's only free if you have one of their messaging plans, which range anywhere from $4.99 a month to $19.99 a month, depending on what you need to do with the plan. So I guess since you have to purchase a plan, it's never free.

Other than that, each text costs 10 cents to send, and 5 cents to receive. Could be more if you sent or receive a picture with it
