Let them decorate their own cookies, especailly for the Holiday season -it is fun and takes up a lot of time.

Make a ginger bread house or ginger bread men.

Make tree decoration using popcorn, uncooked noodles, cheerios, etc.

Decorate pancakes: you could actually cook them or get the precooked ones and just put them in the microwave

Cambells Tomatoe Soup is good for dipping, grilled cheese sandwiches, crakers, sheredded cheese, gold fish snacks

Grilled Cheese sandwiches are good too, you can use different types of cheese (even get "HOOD" and use an iron instead of a skillet -lol)

Sandwich making in general: let them build their own sandwich

Freshly sqeezed orange juice -any juice

Different salads: they can build their own fruit salad, etc (this is very colorful they also learn about different fruits)

Christmas is coming, so you can make cookie ornaments that can be hung on the tree and eaten at Christmas. You can either make classic gingerbread men or use cookie cutters on a favorite type of dough. When the cookies are done, you poke a hole through the top of the shape, run a ribbon or string through the top of the cookie (I'd avoid yarn), and then let them decorate the cookies with multicolored icing. You can hang them on the tree when done. ;-) Merry Christmas!

Sandwiches, Cookies (especially at Christmastime -- you bake, they DECORATE!), Chex Mixes, Popcorn, Make Butter themselves, Ants on a Log (Peanut Butter, Raisins, and Celery Sticks), S'mores, Just about anything -- just make sure that if it involves HOT things (like baking) -- that you do the work putting things in the oven and taking them out so that their little fingers won't get burned!

You can teach them how to crush Oreos and use it as a class activity, like using it as dirt for an edible plant garden and for the flowers, have your students plant big lolly pops in the oreo dirt and then have them take it home or eat in class. :)
