all my friends are going for trip or going back home. My home is on the other side of the earth (18 hours by air)from here.
any suggestion about what to do?

First don't be sad. Your not the only one, ( Me Too), and I'm sure, there's alot more of us. If I were you, I would treat myself like I would, if I was my special friend. In other words, do for yourself what you would do if someone was there. Ex. get some Prime Rib,( or your favorite) make yourself a REAL nice dinner. I mean appetizer, snacks, don't forget dessert and a NICE bottle of wine. Toast to what you've done, what your gonna' do, and recognized your accomplishments, and being.
Mine starts off with, a HOT BUBBLE BATH and campaign. Make sure you get something for yourself nobody would even know you wanted. Make sure you have some good tunes. Dance ----- in the living room if you want. Most important stay positive and be happy, to be you. Your not so sad, just the situation. I'll think of you on Christmas. Enjoy life, it really is good. Merry Christmas.

Where are you located? Are you a student (Because there is usually some sort of place where students can gather on Christmas day). Are you in the Military (the dorms/post/base usually have some sort of gathering on Christmas Day too) -- or are you just a single (and look around in your local newspaper -- there are always notices for things to do on Christmas Day for Singles as well).

Neighbors?Put up flyers for a pot luck dinner party?
Volunteer at a local soup kitchen,to help serve the homeless.
