I was talking with my boyfriend the other day, and he casually told me that if we ever get married, he would have to go off and have a sex with another woman before our marriage!!
Because we are both each other's firsts, so he said that he wouldn't want to be curious when we are married. Therefore, in order to fulfill that curiousity, he thinks it will be a good idea to be with another woman just so that he won't cheat on me DURING our marriage. I was appalled by this idea, and I asked him if i should do the same, but he said that girls and boys are different. Are all guys like this? Is it that bad just be with one girl your whole life?

I'm not sure I'm ready to believe that attitudes towards monogamy are indigenous to gender. On one hand, in the animal kingdom, the male's instinct is to spread the seed around as much as possible. Also, women do outnumber men almost four to one. Whether these are factors or not; I'm not sure.
Another school of thought says that what's good for the goose is good for the gander. This suggests equality and any posessive feelings should be deemed inappropriate.
I'd say it all comes down to the golden rule; Do unto others as you would have others do unto you. That's probably one of, if not THE most important consideration to make before taking such a major step in life.

Get away from this idiot ASAP. I was a virgin when I got married at 28 (really!). My wife and I enjoy quite a healthy sex life at the present time, and we have been married for 12 years now. We have two great, talented kids, and I would not break my marriage vows for anything. Anyone who says all men cheat, is guilty of gross generalization. Yes some men cheat (no doubt), but don't pin that on all of us.

Many many generations of human beings only slept with one person in their entire life. Most of the religions of the world dictate that one should not be intimate until they are married. It is selfish for him to say that, but not unforgivable. Every person yearns for carnal fulfillment, but a real man (or woman) can easily overcome that yearning. After all, if you are happy with your mate, and get what you need from then, why on earth would you want to mess that up?!

Girls and boys are different. A girl wouldn't try to use such a rationalization for cheating on someone. With a line like that I would doubt that he's telling the truth about past experiences also. NOT ALL guys are like this. Just the stupid ones.

petasucks...you're a total jerk. Get bent.

Take everyone's advice and leave him. He's a male chauvinist who is only going to tell you what to do your whole life since he knows that he is the man and can do whatever he wants, but you must be perfect, or he'll dump you. Can you imagine his attitude if you dared to put on 20 lbs with your first baby? Yikes.

PS Petasucks, you got your head so far up your @ss you got it all backwards. Men started all of this cheating crap. Eve ate an apple, she didn't boff the gardener, but I wonder how many wives Adam ended up with, eh? Get out of the basement, troll

You keep asking several versions of this question.

In short, he should not marry you yet. He should not be engaged to you yet. F*cking one other girl one time won't "satisfy his curiosity."

You two should call off the marriage, honestly, until he feels he is done sleeping with lots of girls.

So what if the invitations say this or that date. People let the stupidest things control when they marry. "But we told people." SO?

Better you let him sleep around when he is single than when he is married to you. It's only "bad" to be with one woman your whole life if all you want is to keep screwing everyone *but* her.

Even if he did have sex with someone before you got married he would still be curious not saying that he would cheat from being curious, but thats just human nature and if you do marry him just assume that he's going to cheat before so you do the same

Do you remember the movie The King and I? I'll do my best to approximately quote the king from memory: A woman is like a flower. She should stay rooted in on place. A man is like a bee who goes from blossom to blossom to blossom.

What's wrong with that? Shucks, Solomon the wise man had 700 wives and 300 concubines. Busy man.

I can see it know all the feminist women love this ? so they can bash all guys. ok this guy is NOT old fashined it takes one to know one if i wants sex , the most intimate and beautiful act between a man and woman, he would want it with only you if he were old fashioned. Could just be me but he may be scared he is going to get in bed w/ you and not know what to do... so he wants a practice run to figure everything out and how it works. flawed yes. but would any man admit this to their woman.. no. seriously. good luck

babygirl...consider his "casual statement" a shot across your bow. he has or will soon be considering seeing another woman to fulfull his sexual "curiosity". the game he's playing on your mind is as old as time is long. he's leaving himself a "booty call" clause and if you disagree, he can say that you're not open minded enough (or whatever sickness his little nut holder can come up with). see how he feels if you decided to "explore" before marriage.
