if you could be popular or respected which would u choose? If you were popular, ppl would think that as a person you were just ok (as a role model/example to mankind) . And if you were respected, ppl would think of you as an ok friend but a good role model. No smart aleck answers; plz choose one and explain! Thanks.

I would prefer to be respected even if I had fewer friends. Those would be true friends, not hangers-on. I'd like to be a role model and example to those around me. I taught school and tried to act teh way I wanted my students to act. I want others to respect themselves too.

I would choose to be respected. Someone who can make others proud, and I dont mean someone rich or a genius or something super great, just someone with good values, good moral. I prefer to be respected because that way I'll be also popular, but in a good way, for sure; but being just popular? naaah.... Britney is popular...

I would rather be respected. Respect is your character, shows what type of person you are, if you aren't respected, must be at the bottom of the barrel.
