I don't need forgiveness because I have done absolutely nothing wrong. Most people who go to church don't know how to live a good life, they take drugs, smoke weed, and then gets cleaned up by reading the bible. So these people are weakminded first, and then they learn the bible to improve there life. Well, I am an Athiest and I don't do such decadent and abusive behaviors like taking drugs or having lots of sex with children like these old men molesters in your church. You guys are freaks and weak minded people. I never drank one once of alcohol, and never do any of the sins you guys talk about, but at the same time, I can accept being nothing after death. It does not bother me. But that apparently bothers you bible huggers. That is wjhy you follow the Jesus stuff. You guys are weak!!!!!!!!!!!

You have obviously been pestered by an over-confident bible-thumper that believes that anyone who does not believe as he/she does is wrong. Ironically, you have developed the same attitude.
YOU are the same as "them" now! YOU have NO right to condemn everyone of an ENTIRE religion based on the actions of those few around you that have given you a bad taste just as NO person of any faith has the right to condemn anyone of another faith or without faith.
I agree that the majority of religion is to preserve a sense of right and wrong within society because the majority of us are not disciplined enough to do what's right & wrong even while believing that consequences await us in an afterlife. Imagine the turmoil throughout the world if those people stopped believing that they'll be punished eternally for what they do. I say let them believe. If you don't believe, that's fine! If you do your best to live a good life, I commend you for that.

It's funny that you say you don't commit any sins because in your rant you committed one in a manner that I have never seen anyone else do. You've opened your mouth (or in this case typed on your keyboard) and proved that ignorance can come from all sources. You've also shown that you have a fabulous ability to judge what you really know nothing about. Many of the sins you described are committed by quite a few non-believers as well.
The difference between Christians and the people that you are describing is the fact that they accept the fact that they will stumble quite a bit during this earthly journey, but they insist on trying to improve themselves because of their divine purpose and favor.
The saddest thing about what you wrote is not your rant, but the fact that you chose to rant about people trying to live right as opposed to being upset with those people (not just in a religion) who are molesting children, killing people, disrespecting their parents, and treating people like they're less than nothing because of deep-rooted ignorance.

Weakness is an interesting concept, and subjective. Take spelling for example, lets say that someone mis-spells "ounce" and uses 'once' instead. Is it weakness to not know or recognize the incorrect spelling? Or is it just lazy to not use spell check?
Same with name calling. I could say that people that can't spell are stupid. But that wouldn't be correct. But it would be name calling. Perhaps their education didn't include spelling, or grammar, or sentence structure.
Does name calling improve my position or support any argument? Or is name calling just an ego boost for me and a lazy way to not have to present a substantive argument?
I'd pick the latter.

You do not know enough Christians to make this assessment a good model for all of us Christians included is to not judge but to live our lives in the manner our Saviour lived.

I dont know many atheist but I am a believer and I have yet to meet someone I could not forgive or pray for.

Our biggest problem in the world is that we feel the need to lable people and put them all in neat little boxes with bows or without

A nice illusion you have, but there are many who do not believe that non existence after death is a logical conclusion and there is much evidence toward the existence of an afterlife as well as God.
It could also be perceived by many that Atheism is just a way to ignore the truth and feel smug about it.

Yes, Christianity (all organized religion actually) does appear to be a crutch for the intellectually, socially and emotionally weak. However, in all fairness, if the social support the cult provides such people enables them to lead more loving and fulfilling lives, as it often (though not always) does, it is not so bad is it.

You don't have to go to the temple to serve God. It is what is in your heart. You can serve God from anywhere. Christianity if part of our faith and yes we all are hypocrits because we are human. We have the sin that was past on to us by Adam and Eve and we continue to sin. We have learned to ask God for his forgiveness and live according to his scriptures in the bible.

Your opinion is your opinion and you have the right to it, but don't insult others because of the goodness of their heart and their faith. I cannot believe I have fell for one of Satins attempts to get me involved in such nonsense.

God forgive me for answering this question of this evil being with a sick soul.

Merry Christmas Wacko!

Please forgive me

People claim to be Athiests when they don't want to be told they are doing something 'wrong'. They don't want to have to follow any rules, and don't want to consider that they might be held accountable for their actions. Weak people are the ones that believe in nothing.

One of the things we also struggle against is pride and arrogance. How are you doing on that score?
