Yes the sun is affecting your black hair, making it lighter. This happens to me to , but in the summer. The sun just bleaches the hair a little. The reason you think your hair is turning colour is the light or sun reflecting. This happes to me too. But thats kinda kool when your hair turns color. lol..

It could be the product you are putting in your hair and the sun is changing the colour of it. I would use something else. I also suggest dont use those products that are for just reds or browns or blondes, they dry the hair shaft and make your natural colour faded.

It's probably the sun. Black hair has red undertones...if you try to bleach it, it will go from black to red to orange to white-blonde. Being in the sun for excessive amounts of time has the same effect.

I'm thinking exposure to the sun too. Let's hope it's that and not that you're getting gray hairs because that would mean it goes from light to dark from the root to the tips of your hair. ^^;

I had the same thing happen to me. Its from the sun. You must have alot of red tones in it. You may want to dye it back your normal color to get the red out.

in case you do no longer decide for the dye to grant your hair a darker look, in line with probability leaving the dye on your hair for a shorter era than the bottle recommends supply you the outcomes. additionally, in case you bypass forward and dye it and locate that the colour continues to be darker than you opt for, you need to consistently get a highlighting kit and upload in some diffused highlights which will create an lighter tone.
