Utopian was, I admit, not the best choice of words. The intent of my question is to ask if people assign to wars, whether they oppose or support one, unrealistic expectations.

the use of utopian concept and war in the same sentence doesn't really make sense for most of us, but there are people/societies who reap billions of dollars during conflicts and they may view war times as utopia. rockefeller once said something to the effect that we make more in 6 weeks of war then in a year of peace. short answer: not many, but a few.

Yes and it has never worked; war only begets more war. Warmongers hope to achieve the assimilation of others; like the Borg and relegate them to a system of hypocritical teachings that support an elitist agenda.
