My parents are the greatest. They do everything for me. I want this Christmas to be about them. I dont want to expect things, I want them to expect things. I respect them greatly, they work so hard and it seems like people walk all over them and nobody does things for them. I love them so much, they mean the world to me, they gave me life, and raised me to be respectful, and not to judge.
Some kids expect ipods, cellphones, digital cameras, but I dont want anything. I just want the gift of giving, and knowing that I can bring joy to my parents faces. I am still young, and I still love my parents. It seems like this year imparticular I am conscious about what to get them. I have no idea of thoughtful gifts. I want to fill up underneath the tree for them, and get my three siblings involved too.
My parents work so hard, I commend them. They brought us up , never believed in running out lives for us, and always gave us choices. They have taught me so many life lessons, that I will carry

First off I want to say that if more kids were like you, the world would stop being a shitty place. I have a feeling your parents don't care a lot about material things either. The best things you could get them would probably be things from the heart, like a photo collage that can be put in an office, or a poem saying how much you love them and how much you mean to them, or something like making them breakfast in bed for christmas. I'm not too good with gift ideas either, but I hope that helps.

Alright that's nice and touching and all that but this is Yahoo Answers (I suppose you have a question. I may have missed the point or something) What is your question ? Or do you just want a complement and a nice pat on the back for saying something nice about your parents? Heres a verse from the Bible sort of about doing things like prayer and fasting in public: It's from Matthew Chapter 6 verse 5-7.

Sounds like they did a good job raising you..Most kids today only think of themselves. Always respect them and try to help them when they get older...they will never ask probably..I hope you and your family have a great holiday.

wow, you have definately touched me!, i was askign my parents for, irronically an iPod and a cell phone, your idea is great i am guilty of walking all over my parents and not putting enough thought into there presents, i suggest you put together a scrap book of memories you share, and at the end put a list of things you would like to accomplish together before you leave for a life on your own, remind them how much you mean to them and encourage yoour siblings to do the same, tanks again for bringing me back to reality good luck

as the other person said...they don´t sound materialistic...how bout going to some crafts shop and making them some pottery or something or buy a gift certificate to a restaraunt and have a family dinner...or just for your parents to get away...i dunno but that is really wonderful what you wrote and i am happy that you love your parents so much and that they have done good to you:)
