i didn't get this. sooo this girl said to the doc that she is having wihte period. and the doc said its normal u need to take birth control. nd that girl is 17. Not married. y she need tp take birth control????

the hormones the birth control pill contains will stabalize her hormones returning her periods red u dont have 2 b married or in a sexual relationship 2 take the pill i take it 2 make mine lighter as i suffer really heavy n painful periods. all the best 2 her

I have been on and off birth control since I was 11, because I have trouble with my periods & you don't have to be married to take birth control.

Woman are put on birth control for various reasons other than to prevent pregnancy. They are used to regulate periods, control periods (especially if the woman has extreme discomfort and blood flow) and they use it to help some woman with PMS. Birth Control has the stigma attached to it that it is for sexually active woman and that isn't ALWAYS the case.
