I wouldnt consider myself a 'fanboy' but i back microsoft the most. I have an xbox, ps2, psp, and ds but i am torn between getting a 360 and a ps3 or a 360 and a wii. please help. thank you for your time.

Well if you back Microsoft the most then get a 360. For me I got a PS3 and love it. I never liked X-box since I rented the system and preferred playing games in general on PlayStation better
Wii dose not offer to much besides the fact that it is the first virtual console out.
All have good and bad to them I will list some of the bad and good for all. I do not want to make it too long.
Wii
BAD,
Graphics are not that good, No dvd/blu-ray, Most up coming games for the system are download-able old NES, SNES,N64 games that have a cost to them.
Good,
Wii is a good and fun gaming experience
PS3,
BAD,
The cost of the system, Browser is not really good (Slow), Graphics are better then 360 but not by much, Saving PS1/PS2 games is a hassle, No rumble controller replaced with tilt action,
Good,
Blu-ray,Good average selection of games coming out, Free on-line play, Good Graphics.
X-box 360,
BAD,
No blu-ray, Charge for on-line play, Smaller hard drive or same as the 20GB PS3, Shorter battery life in controller then PS3, Hassle saving X-box games and not all work,
Good,
Excellent game selection, Good browser, Good graphics,
They are all good systems and one is not better the the other. It all come down to you and what one is better for you.
The way I see it if you are a
X-box fan get 360
PS fan get a PS3
Nintendo fan get a Wii

I was torn between both of them too.I went to gamestop and played both of them.The 360 kicks sony's *** right now as its been there for a year.Its going to get Halo 3 and has gears of war and the xbox live is the best online service.
I would recommend getting a 360.Even if you dont have a TRUE hdtv right now,you can enjoy an hd-dvd on a 360 at 720p,but if you buy a ps3 and try to watch a blu ray movie you'll have to upgrade to 1080p.PS3 is going to cost you a lot more if you really want to enjoy it.1080p tv prices are through the roof right now.
Get a 360 and come join the XBOX live community-It will knock the balls off ps3's online community.

We have all three at work. I would suggest getting the 360 and the Wii and forget about the PS3 for a while. The PS3 graphics are not really any better than the 360 and Wii is pretty fun with the motion controllers.
