I can never live in the moment.
I'm constantly worrying about some kind of history exam, a two-page essay, what my crush said to me and what it means, my grades, my parents...
Believe me, I'm not depressed or anything.
No, i just worry too much, and my mind is constantly filled with confusing thoughts that just cannot be solved (such as problems with my crush).
How can I shake these thoughts away and just simply,
"live in the moment"?

Try not to worry about the consequences of your actions or the throughts of others. To "live in the moment," you must learn to appreciate life for its riches, and to treat each experience as it were your first.

You actually sound as if you are pretty well grounded in reality. Living for the moment means no responsibility. You do not have to take responsibility for your actions. You wait until your history test is here. You do badly because you did not study. Oh, well; you are living in the moment. You get hungry. You have no food in the house. Oh, yeah. you did not go shopping. Why? Because you were living in the moment, lost your job, and have no money. Oh, well; someone will give me a welfare check so I can live in the moment.
You sound like a responsible young adult. Try not to worry by completing you tasks. Your history test is coming up? Study hard and KNOW the answers. Now you do not have to worry about the test. When it gets here you will be prepared. Your parents causing you trouble? Write down what it is they are worried about. Discuss it with them. You should have your own points down to discuss the pros and cons of the particular issues. You can relax and enjoy down time without having to "let go" and just "live in the moment". You know the consequences of your actions and want to prepare yourself for the best outcome possible. I think you are going to be O.K...!!!

It is not me or anyone else that needs to believe that you are not depressed. It is you who needs to believe that and I bet four quarters that you are though. Anxiety and depression go hand in hand and all that worrying is a indication of anxiety. Me... I stopped worrying once for five minutes, but then I started to worry to why I was not worrying. :)
You could chant over and over, "don't think, don't think, don't think, until the thinking stops and hold it for a second or two. Practice doing it until get minutes holding it, and so on. As for not every worrying... well that's probably is not going to happen.
Oh, worrying about what your 'crush' says is an indication of low self-esteem. You know, even healthy people will avail themselves some therapy from time to time.
