Totally. Pettite is on his way back and you know with him will come Clemens. And with the Japanese guy coming over the starting rotation is solid. Its the bullpen we need to worry about.
Thank God we didnt get Lily back, that guy was kicked out of NY for a reason...he wasnt good.
Now if we can just get rid of A-Rod.

Yes of couse. Their starting rotation consists of:
Wang, Johnson, Mussina, Pettitte, and Igawa
There are also rumors that Carl Pavano might come into the starting rotation. If that were true, I would take out Johnson, I think his dominating years are over.
Their bullpen consists of:
Rivera, Proctor, Villone, Farnsworth, etc.
All of these men are great at their relief spots, especially Proctor.
There is a major possibility that the Yankees might also acquire Roger Clemens, since they already got Pettitte back.
With all of this pitching, you possibly can't ask for more.

They just signed Andy Pettitte to one year for 16 million dollars with a player option for a second year. They are also negotiating with a good Japanese pitcher.

well they signed pettite, lookin or clemens i think.but again theyll do the same error:overspending.the yanks need to develop new pitchrs and players in general from the ground up,unlike getting some and using them for a year and then throwing them in the free agent market.they must draft good rookies and develop them.
p.s:world series winner:mets....royals season w-l record 61-101....yanks record 88-70...
