As mentioned, belt tension is adjusted automatically by...(wait for it)... an automatic belt tensioner.

If your complaint is actually some sort of belt related noise this could be coming from a worn out idler pulley, tensioner pulley or a failed belt tensioner. Any of these are very straightforward to replace.

It has an auto tensioner that keeps the belt tight.And there should be a belt routing diagram under the hood somewhere that shows how the belt should go.

The belt is not directional.You just need to release tension from the idler most likely with the drive on a 3/8" ratchet. nothing to it.

chances are it has a spring tensioner on it. if it is squeaking replace it. there should be a sticker that illustrates the belt pattern. if not draw it out yourself before taking off.

you don't. just replace it. its one belt and if its loose then you need a new one. or you need a tensioner pulley.

you don`t there is a spring loaded bearing the keeps it tight you need a new one
