I sometimes wonder if the generally perceived as poorly educated, smelly people of the 1300s were good company, or rather awful to be with. And vice versa, are we nicer to be with than they were?

Would we find people who grew up without mirrors and without the culturally levelling effect of mass media freaky, or wonderful?

It would seem that they would have been more like animals than many people of today.I doubt there would have been so much charity either.I guess they would have been nice and smelly?

The people of those times were at least nice enough to keep one another alive long enough for you and I to be born.
It took a lot of love; I hope that particular tradition doesn't disappear.

yeah nice,and miserable.Now we are mean and miserable something just don't change.
