my 18 year old son likes basketball and golf games. Any recommendations? (i.e. TIger Woods PGA Tour 2007, NBA, )

my son already has a PS2 - and I have seen the new games for 2007. There are several 2007 NBA games - I was asking if anyone has tried any one of them and preferred one over the other.

Tiger Woods 2007 is terrific, if he likes golf games, I'd definitely go with this one. Tiger Woods golf games are consistantly good.

Not all PS2 gaes work with a PS1 DualShock controller. Some PS2 games (whether they actaully use the feature or not) refuse to work without the pressure-sensitive buttons that were introduced for the PS2.

you might be out of luck. PS2 is officially obsolete since PS3, Nintendo Wii, and XBox 360 are all out. Almost all console games will be targeted towards those three powerhouses. Sorry, but you may be buying your son a new system before you buy him a new game.
