How do I open web pages in existing window instead of them popping up in a new window?

Download Mozilla Firefox (a web browser) and go to File --> New Tab to create the new window within the main window.

Use Enigma or Firefox or Mozilla browser. Enigma will open a new tab automatically when you type in a new address. You have to open a new tab first on Firefox and Mozilla then type in the new address.

Yep best bet is Firefox 2 im told IE 7 does it im also told its crap and very buggy so try firefox.
