Most regular season victories in any one regular season 1995-96 -62 wins.
Biggest gap from 1st and 2nd overall in nhl history 95-96 when they won the presidents trophy with 29 points seperating them and the avalanch. Not as strong this year. But this is due to the new nhl regulations on pay structure really. dominated the mid to late 90's in view of regular season. Stanley cup champs in 1997-1998-2002.

Well they won the presidential trophy last season, meaning they finished the season(not playoffs) as #1 team in the league. But they lost the first round of playoffs by the Oilers. This season they are doing alright, but not as good as before.

yes, they are a good team. they don't have that many offensive weapons besides for datsyuk and zetterberg (who are not doing good this year), but they have hasek playing beautifully and a great defense (lead by lidstrom, and of course schneider, chelios, and kronwall).

unfortunately they are good. they're always good.
inevitabilities in life: birth, taxes, britney spears being a cheap ho, death, and the wings being good.
