Make sure the person actually likes to read first. If they are not regular readers the gift will most likely be a waste. But, yea, for avid readers they would most likely love a good book.

YES!!!! I, for one LOVE to read books (as long as they are NOT Romance Books!) and would LOVE to get Books for Christmas Gifts!

yes they do cause reading is knowledge and knowledge is power but rather buying a book why not get a gift card to a book store and let them choose the book they desire

I like to torture my nephews with books on Christmas. They have so many toys it makes me laugh inside when they open them. I figure it's something to get the kids that have everything,
