The ball is causing all types of pessimistic problems. As shown by facts on NBA.COM turnovers and 3-point percentages are struggling in the stat column. Players such as Nowitzki and Nash have had cuts on their hands. Players are also complaining about the horrible grip of the ball. Isnt that what is was suppose to fix? David Stern is
solely responsible for this. Whatever he worked out with Spalding he is a complete idiot. Basketball is such an exciting sport but he does not understand how to showcase this wonderful game. He is making the game completely volitile to heavily seduced rules and regulations. Basketball is still the #3 sport in America. It should be higher, like second. No offense to baseball. Stern needs to be fired because of his lunatics to this once prestigous league.

Agreed?

Yeah I felt that new ball and it has WAY too much grip. Most of the NBA players are used to letting the ball slide on their hands while dribbling it down the court and stuff. Due to the grip of this ball, they have to find a different way of dribbling it. Why can't they just leave the ball how it is and stop adding more grip to it. Soon, the ball won't even be able to move around the court. It'll stay stuck to one part of the floor.

The problem with the ball is everything you just listed. Leather balls absorbs sweat and provide more grip giving the player more control. The new ball does not abosorb sweat it lingers on the ball and it becomes slick, causing turnovers and wild shots. David Stern has a major ego problem and appears to want to control everything. I hope someone does something with him real quick, before he makes a bigger mess on the court.
