Very likely. People are just to involved in their beliefs to admit it though. I think the only record of Jesus outside the Bible was added two to three hundred years later. It is just like how there is no record of the Jews in Egypt even though the ancient Egyptians kept some of the most accurate accounts of history of any civilization in history.

There is a similar story in the Epic of Gilgamesh. And there is also the theory that the ancient Egyptian story of Isis and Osiris is the basis of the Jesus legend.

Personally, I believe there probably was a real Jesus, but his story has been greatly embellished over time.

It does not matter if it is fact, the meaning is far deeper than that. It goes back to ancient beliefs of other ancient peoples, conects with other cultures, and holds more answers than we may ever understand. And truths of important things.

If you can see it, not as facts, but facts of the mind, then it will have the same amount of importance as beliefs of other cultures are now getting, and that is very important.

That it should never be lost. The Pagans once extended themselves and saved it, cause' they held a belief that no one's beliefs should be lost.
