I am working on building a computer for gaming, and I am trying to decide what type of motherboard I should get. I have narrowed it down to "ASUS P5N32-SLI SE Deluxe Socket T (LGA 775) NVIDIA nForce4 SLI X16 ATX Intel Motherboard" and "ASUS P5N32-SLI Premium/WiFi-AP Socket T (LGA 775) NVIDIA nForce 590 SLI ATX Intel Motherboard". I am looking for a motherboard that will be able to support a GeForce 7950, so I was wondering which would be better. Thanks for your help!

Well honestly unless you are planning to run SLI I wouldn't get either, I would stick with one of the ASUS with the Intel P965 chipset, much better than the nVidia chipsets. If you are running SLI, then get the 590, it is newer and better.

The Nforce 590 is the lastest of the Nforce 5 family (or one of the latest, I still could be outdated!). The Nforce 5 came after Nforce 4, but they only added few interesting features. Its up to you to see if its good to expend extra money and get the 5th generation of the nforce chipset instead of the 4th. I'm actually sticking with my good old Nforce 3 mobo with my Athlon 64 (I do music and audio edit as hobby, but I also work in video editing, serious job). The Nforce 3 doesn't sport SLI or even one single pci express, or other fancy features that came after it, when the Nforce 4 was released and the nforce 5 after it.
But hey, the nforce 3 its an nforce, and they all were really great in performance.
