If so,would it be an answer to interstellar travel? Also where exactly are the atoms during trasit?

So far, it has only done by quantum teleportation and has not involve any matter...it only affects the quantum state of a particle.

Hi. The short answer is no. To teleport any material would involve breaking it down to constituent molecules, or even atoms, then re-assembling them at the destination. This may be possible with something as simple as a gas but anything with structure would be MUCH more difficult. Not impossible, just very difficult.
