Could your friend be on a diet that has not been providing the nutritional value she needs? Excessive exercise, like an athlete in hard training can interfere with the menses.
The only thing I ever heard of is take hot baths and exercise but not excessive exercise. Start walking and build up to jogging. Or, in the case of excessive exercise, slow it down. And eat healthy meals with lots of fruits and vegetables. Won't hurt the complexion either.
Everyone is late a time or two. But if it goes on for too long, consult a doctor.

Well, is there any specific reason why she wants it so fast? I had my period like once, and i started drastically losing weight after that becasue of an eating disorder so my period didnt come for 2-3 years. Weight is a large factor, so women need to eat right (lots of calcium) and to stay at a healthy weight.

my period comes anywhere between 28 days and 33 every period is different. If she has just started menstruating it takes awhile to become regular.

Yes, I think it could be coming soon. How old are you? (What I mean is, have you had it before?) Sometimes what you think are cramps are just growing pains if you are under 14 years old. Be prepared, stock up on pads and bananas, they help with the cramps! good luck!
