I am assuming he burned it on DVD for you, so there should not be any copyright protection on the disc itself. You can purchase 1 Click DVD to Mpeg" from "http://www.dvdtompeg.biz"
From there just copy it into a mpeg file and you can upload it to "www.youtube.com". Once it gets on youtube, you can tell it you want to post the movie on myspace, which it will then give you a link to copy and paste into your myspace page.

you should be able to insert the dvd into the cd/dvd drive in your pc, when the window opens with the file, right click and send it to "My Pictures". Once you get it there, you should be able to insert it anywhere.
