I thought it was an awful display of bufoonery. He really made a fool of himself. It is unfortunate because I don't believe he was getting much work as an actor or comedian anyway. Now, he will be getting negative work (pulling out episodes of Seinfeld, cancelling comedy dates, lawsuits).

I'm very disappointed in his tirade. I'm a huge Seinfeld fan and Kramer was my favorite, and I think Richards was a gifted comedian, at least in that part. And ya know, when you see a guy play a part so convincingly like that, you sorta think he might be like that in real life: wild and goofy and funny! I always would tell my friends that I'd love to have a neighbor like Kramer. And I wondered if maybe Richards was a little like that. But after his tirade, it's apparent he's full of anger and hostility, and has some deeply embedded psychological issues. It was an ugly scene and made me cringe for all us white guys out there.

I think Michael Richards has issues and he should get help. I don't necessarily know if it is just full throttled hatred towards African-Americans...I know that on Entertainment tonight they had someone else a fellow comedian where he was doing another gig and he blew up at her for no apparent reason and really went off on her. Maybe there is more to this than we as the public view. I don't think we should be quick to judge..... his mental status may be the root to these outbursts..

I felt it was irresponsible, unprofessional and rude. He was 'at work' and a person is to behave accordingly especially when 'on the job'. I know others say that generally speaking he is not to behave that way at any time . . . yet, in this case he was providing a service (his comedy routine) that others paid to listen to. He had not shown this side of himself before and he shocked and cheated others of an expected evening of how they thought him to be. Just another thought on this topic. Personally, I feel what he expressed as a human was foul and rude. On the positive side, every time an ill experience comes up there is growth and lessons to be learned from it . . . so some good can come out of this.

Initally I thought he did it for publicity, but now those thought patterns have change.... he's just an ignorant racists and he should be ashamed of himself! If he was a good comic he would have been able to make jokes about the people clowning him instead of resorting to racial slurs!

It kinda dissapointed me, because I liked the guy a lot for his acting in Seinfeld.
It's a shame that someone can say such hateful filth in this modern day and age.

I thought he lived in a country where free speech was embraced. Black rap singers use the N word in many songs, I do not see any reverand showing up at THEIR door to tell them that what they are saying is a bad thing. Double standard to me.

He's a putz that has too much time on his hands because he has too much money. He too full of rage . Like I said, he's a putz. You don't say stuff like that unless you have a deep seeded hate and rage for someone or something.

He made a mistake, he apoligized and deserves a second chance.
The poor guy admitted he made a mistake, give him a break!
I still respect him and admire him for apoligizing.

It was idiotic and infantile. He deserves all the abuse heaped upon him. Indirectly blaming George Bush for it was even more stupid.
