I read four of five at a time, I love books, God the smell of a new book! I like the way you can you know, when you read a book at the end of it you miss the character, and the ones you just cannot put down until the end, and the way you can go back to bits and that which you can't do on a television. And if you read an old classic you end up talking posh! Madness. In answer to your question I would say I have read maybe one hundred and fifty - two hundred? I don't have a tv by the way, which probably has a big impact on how much I read!

I don't keep an accurate record, but somewhere between 50 and 75 at a guess. When I'm in the mood I read 2 to 3 books a week and then I'll go a month without reading anything.

I tend to read about 1 a week so I must have managed about 50 this year. I try and re-read books I already own to keep the cost down!
I simply can't sit on a train or plane without having something to read and since I spent 3 hours a day on trains thats a lot of books!

I keep track. So far this year I've read 74 - I read 76 last year. As for the person who said people who read 80 books/year are lying - that's not fair. I have an hour commute on the train to and from work everyday so I read a lot. Not everyone flops in front of the TV all night.

Roughly 60 - 70. I try to read a book a week but sometimes I read 2 or 3 books at the same time.

I'm sorry but I just don't believe those people who claim to have read 80, 100, 250 books, etc. It's okay, don't be shy, we're all uncultured little tv buffs nowadays so it doesn't matter! Im gonna be honest...I've read about 8 books this year... 2 or 3 of which i was made to read in school, the rest in the holidays...sorry I'm just not a big reader. My excuse is that I have to study a lot and I'm sticking to it!

Probably about 10-20 this year, including fiction and non-fiction.
Towards the end of school I would only read books when forced to, but I got back into it again a few years later. Still, I'd like to read more than I do.

Quite a few! 1st to die by James Patterson, Man and Boy, One for my Baby, Man and Wife (all by Tony Parsons), The Acid House by Irvine Welsh (fantastic, better than the film!) and at the moment I'm reading 4 Stephen King novels in one book. They are: Rage, The Long Walk, Road Work and The Running Man. (Yes, the film that starred Arnold Swarzenegger. I had no clue it was a Stephen King book!)

I find once I start reading a book it's really hard to put down. I do try an read when I can but find it takes over as my imagination works overtime. I've probably read about 10.
