I have a 94 honda accord lx and recently i have been having problems with it. When i have my car in park or in neutral it just idles over and over and over and it does not stop. does anyone out there know what could be causing this to happen? I tried changing the oil and getting a tuneup, i also changed the transmission fluid. What could be going wrong?

Clarify. It is supposed to idle over and over, until you accelerate or turn it off.
Is it idling oddly?
Is it "hunting"?
Is it "rolling"?
Give us a clue.

what do you mean, over, over and over?do you mean it goes up and down when it idles?if thats what its doing then it could be a vaccum leak.
