Explain the meaning of my dream?

Ok, I had this dream when I was much younger, back in elementary school. It starts off I'm in my grandmother's house, the living room, sitting in a cardboard box, I guess I'm playing or something. I look up onto a shelf to see this doll(I had a horrible fear of them back then, but that's beside the point). I keep thinking it's going to look at me, and it does. So I jump out of the box, run into the dining room, and find all the women in my family sitting at the table(my cousins, aunts, grandma, mother, and sister), and around them are a bunch of buff, tan, wearing only thongs, and dancing with giant human-sized bananas.

That's the end. Any thoughts?

Sorry, that's buff, tan men wearing only thongs. *tired* Also, no, no peanut butter jelly time. This was way before that even existed...so...just...no....

Well, alleycatcracker may be a bit brusque, but I think he *may* be on to something here. You might have viewed yourself as a weak little boy (as the doll, a "girl's toy," scared you), and subconsciously recognized that your female relatives would like stronger, more virile men, something you saw yourself as never becoming. It doesn't necessarily mean you're gay, though - just suffering some self-confidence issues, perhaps.

Then again, the banana is supposed to be a phallic symbol.....

The box symbolizes the vagina to you, you remember being in the womb and coming out of the box. The doll is your mother and your first sight of her. She was cold and waxy from just giving birth to you. She looked at you when you were born. Jumping out of the box is being born. All the women in your family were the first ones there to see you as a baby. They were so happy that they were dancing around. The big bananas, I bet you saw a lot of them while you were still in the womb.

Why do you want to know the meaning of a dream you had a long time ago?
I dunno if you are male of female, but i'm guessing you are female & you feel pressured to follow the footsteps of the women of your family. Maybe there is a standard that has been set or a sort of way of life that is common to them which you do not agree.

I guess, it is related to your fear of dolls, back then.
When you see your relatives dancing with giant bananas, you're comparing your fear to be as ridiculous as that situation.
