it did not make the noise there. They replaced the drive belt but when I picked up my car and cranked it, it made the same noise again. Any suggestions? Thanks

maybe they didnt get the belt tight,or it could be the bearing in your alternator,or it could be your water pump squeeling.

Depends on the squeling, is it just as you start it, when you have the A/C on, ect... Is there more than one drive belt, if so, it may be another belt. In any case, I would check the tightness of the belt, because if it's still slipping, then you may need to tighten it up by adjusting the pulley. Usually there is a bolt on a pulley that stands alone and is connected to nothing. Depending on how you turn the bolt, the pulley either adds more stress on the belt to tighten it, or less stress to loosen. Try tightening.

Could be a semi seized air compressor or other causing the belt to squeal. Something the belt is connected to

It's usually the power steering pump. Don't ask me why.
