Maybe it's because not that many people know and understand Goth culture. I've never met a Goth, so I have no idea if I would care about them or not.

Because of the following
1.I mean if all goths are different why do all goths look the same?
2.They are Homos.
3.They want people to feel sorry for them.
4.They dress so stupid.
5.They put on too much makeup.
6.They're anti-social
7.They're emos
8.They try so hard to be different.
9.Most normal people can't stand them.
10.I CAN'T STAND THEM!

Goth had it's shock value in the mid 90's. it os worn out and overdone now.
too many EMO/goth fakes out there that are only that way because they think that they are being cool and getting attention.
i have a few goth friends. and even they do not like most other goth people in the area.
in general i do not care about them because their act is the whole
"nobody cares about me so i dont care about anybody" sthick.
who am i to ruin their percieved culture.

How come nobody cares about punks?
It`s because they are different, that`s why...I don`t care if 99% of the population does not care about me. The only thing that matters is my family.
BTW...goths are not emos or homos. I`m sure there are some, but labeling them all homo is ridiculous.

That's because it has been so over done for years, that the fad of it is wearing off. Although it's about rebellion it became as bad of a clique as the preps or hicks. Many of those that were goth are realizing that they can't continue dressing like such and make it in the corporate world.

It is not that people don't care about goths, its that goths are different than the othr people and when someone is different, people tend to make fun of them. But it is better to be a noncomformist and be made fun of than be a conformost and not get teased.

They're weird and not very cool, and nowadays there's way too much fake goth/emo kids who pretend to be goth, but really aren't.

Nah, not really. What do you mean by 'nobody cares about goths'? Nobody cares about them as a group, cares about them musically, cares about personally, cares about them socially? Maybe you should go to goth.net, lots of people make friends and whatnot there. There's always gothic personals.com.
