Does it matter whether or not she was spanked as a child.. her parents did a knock out job of instilling good qualities in their daughter, period.

Hayley Mills was, from what I read, a model citizen while working for Disney. Thus all the movies she did. When she got older, she decided to rebel against all the rules, and disney dropped her - fast! Lindsey Lohan is going the same route; and she has been told by her bosses; stop or kiss your acting career goodby.
Personally, anyone offers me a chance to act, and especially star in any movie, I will become a "yes-man" like you have never seen. Too many times I read about actors and actresses who demand too many things, and they disappear.
Remember the tv show Hunter? Hercules? Both guys demanded a lot; and both got fired.

I'm sure only she would be able to answer that and not one of us. But yes, she apparently was a polite and down to earth person.
