Its the law of nature.
But what's the need of removing clothes in the grief.

No real offense but the Q equates THINGS to people. Does this seem like a contradiction to anyone else?
DO NOT ever have emotional attachments to things.
Grief as well as the other stages of death and dying are a natural process, because as a species we are blessed, and cursed with emotions.
The issue can also be defined as selfish, in as much as our MISSING someone, causes empty places in our lives, we will eventually have to fill. Very often when someone DIES, we ask WHY? BUT in that question we aren't always asking WHY with regard to the cause, or even in a GOD sense. We ask it, as in WHY ME??? WHY DID YOU LEAVE ME??? Assume that to be selfish, and a denial that the one who died had little other value.
Rev. Steven
A "Cure" if there can be such a "Thing" would be to CELEBRATE the persons life, certainly while they're alive, but after they die as well.

I think precious things or people are hard to leave behind because you've come to rely on those things or people. You can't see your life without them because you've gotten so used to them.

Call it love/attachment which makes it difficult to leave things behind. To over come this Buddha left his wife and son whom he loved dearly to prove to himself that he can sacrifice attachment for greater benefit of humanity.

to be human is to develop emotinol ties to someone, somthing, or sombodies. when we are without them there absence can become an obsesion, and like all things emotional, can cause pain

If you thought they were precious and it's easy to move on, then life is quite pointless.
