Back off gypsy, I am very well informed in religion. and have respect for all but one.
But we are free to our religous life style or dress. we can dance arround a campfire but if we are naked we better be in very private place IS that fair (it's not sexual just naked) Judge me not Please.
It is not a religion because the laws are on the books and a simple 9 year old running naked in the sprinkler can go to jail and be stuck with 'sexual perdater status' not that she will but it can happen. Please remember GOD is nude NOW and forever.

Hi, I don't think that nudism or naturism will develop into a religion as such - although it is practiced in conjunction with some religions. There are Christians who are nudists, as well as Buddhists, Jews, Pagans and even Muslims.

The sanctioning of nudism is not something that is a matter of the Federal Government - it is something that is up to councils and local governments.

As a nudist myself, I would definitely like to see a time where people can worship their Creator naked wherever they want and not be persecuted or suffer any form of retribution.

The relationship between the U.S. government and Wicca is at best a strained one. Although we all know Wicca has nothing to do with Satanism, being the conservative, Puritanical nature of our present administration, Wicca is acknowledged, but not fully accepted. At this point in time the Veterans Administration will let Wiccans die for our right to religious freedom, however they will not acknowledge a Wiccan's right to having the Pentacle on their grave marker. Although Atheists are allowed the same right for not believing in a supreme being of any kind.

Will nudism ever be accepted as a religion. No. Nudism is not a religion but a choice regarding state of being clothed. Big difference.

That is because Wicca IS a valid religion! Nudism/naturalists are life styles, not religions. Are you ashamed of your body? Unfortunately the government also accepts close-minded, ignorant people as well. I must assume that YOU personally do not accept Wicca as a valid religion, how about Buddhism, Muslim, Judaism, Hindi, Shinto or a dozen other religions? Do you know ANYTHING about anything other than YOUR religion? Probably Christianity. (OOPS! I am making an assumption, but it seems like the only disrespectful people are Christian) It just seems that SOME Christians (not all) are very negative, uneducated, ignorant, close-minded, intolerant, and totally blind to anything they do not (and are not willing to try to) understand. Do you think this country should include only your religion? What about those that were here before yours? Native Americans? Oh No!!!! Nature worshipers! Can't have that! People would have to develop some respect for nature! You know, like Wiccans do!

Isn't Wicca a form of black magic? I don't think it is a matter of the government accepting a religion. Unless someone is being harmed, does the government really care? You can pray to whatever/whomever you want. What do you mean when you say "seems" to have accepted? Perhaps you mean it is recognized as a religion. I highly doubt a candidate who practiced Wicca(n) would be elected president in this country.

As a nudist (naturalist, naturist, whatever the latest politically correct term is), I don't see it as a religion. I can't speak for everyone else, but it is just a preference and a lifestyle for me.

Now, as far as worshiping the female body... that's an entirely different subject, and I am a devout worshiper.

As a new child, no. i grow to be born right into a family individuals of Lutherans and not going to church, sunday college, or not believing grow to be in no way an determination. The minute I asked any harmless question, in hopes of awareness the religion they have been attempting to teach me, not because of the fact i did not have self assurance them, i grow to be dealt with as though I had to be "further back to the flock", like I had already given up my faith as quickly as I hadn't. I submit with that for two decades. Then I reported "hell with it" and after a transitional era, grew to grow to be unaffiliated/agnostic. That determination I DID make as a grown woman. i did not have a call as an infant while it got here to Lutheranism.

I didn't think those practices were religious practices, only philosophy. we already have begans (who are ultra natural) and nudist colonies- maybe those places will increase. but there will never be mixed clothing optional areas because it will upset people and some places in america are frankly too damn cold for that

The US government only establishes religion and a criteria or definition of it for tax code purposes. The 1st Amendment clearly takes the government out of religion and spiritual practices, alone or in groups.

There are spiritual and religious practices that have integral applications of nudity. One day that may be recognized and we shall be free. Nudism/naturism has to be declared by someone as their religion and nobody is doing that. Only nudity is declared as part of ones practice. That clearly exists. It needs to be sincerely presented that way in court, with a bankroll of a few hundred thousand bucks to head up into Federal court.

Why not? It's about time they granted the worship of the almighty dollar religious status too.
