I walk away... I'll let the person figure it out themselves because I'm not about to hang around and be somebody's dummy.

I forget it, I don't hold grudges. If the person wants to discuss it
further , I will otherwise I tend to ignore that treatment and If it is by
someone close to me and they don't want to get it out in the open
then it bothers me and hurts.

Just walk away. They obviously don't want to talk to you or they are looking for more attention. If you walk away, they will have time to cool off (they are probably mad) or they will say "wait, wait!"

i bask in the fact that i do not have to hear their annoying voice any longer.........and enjoy the peace that i have until they realize their foolish game is not working, at which point i have to suffer through more of their "personality".........
