so to ppl with normal definition tv's and Xbox 360's, do u guys find a big diffrence and get a thrill with playing on Xbox 360 just like u would with an HDTV.......?
is there a way i can get HD somehow with my tv....cuz i cant afford a new tv for a console y'know also cuz i bought it a year and a half ago only and its perfect otherwise(Sony Wega 29'')

Well the Xbox 360 puts out a HD resolution but you don't need to have a HDTV to use the console. The graphics just look a whole lot better on an HDTV. Besides the Xbox 360 still reads its games off of regular DVD's and you need to buy an add-on to play the HD-DVD's. If you want a true HD console you would have to buy a PS3.

Actually HDTV is most worth it for computer-generated images, such as gaming consoles. It is not as worth it for regular TV shows (who cares if Everybody Loves Raymond is HD or not?) But yes, it is pretty good for new gaming. But don't feel disappointed, HDTVs are becoming mainstream and you'll be able to get something reasonably prices within next two years.

to be honest i don't think you need a hdtv for the consoles :). 98% of people are just going to use their standard def tvs. sure it might look nice but how many people have the money to upgrade? maybe the console companies are trying to push it on us.....ie sony. bsides i still have at least 5 years in my current tv lol

wait a while before you do the HDTV thing, and for playing games , if the game is not in a hd format , the type of TV does not matter.

so wait a while til all the kinks are work out

are not getting the PS3 till i tbecomes extra value-effective thats the only downfall too it because of fact it has a Blu-Ray stress while Xbox 360 is going to apply the HD-DVD format it relatively is extra value-effective yet can't save extra effective area than a Blu-Ray Im going to decide for Wii because of fact- nicely they make the terrific video games!
